World AIDS Day Events

Hello All,

I hope that you had a very peaceful and relaxing Thanksgiving break!

Today, December 1st, is Wolrd AIDS Day. In commemoration of the day, we will be holding two events this week.

Tuesday, December 2nd - World AIDS Day Awareness Event - We will be cosponsoring this event with Keep A Child Alive, an on-campus chapter of the charitable organization of the same name. This organization raises money to support children who are victims of the AIDS crisis, and to help save those who are ill. The event will be a performance/dance, held in the Multipurpose Room from 6:40 P.M. to 9:30. It is a free event, but donations that will go toward Keep A Child Alive will be greatly appreciated. Refreshments will be served.

Thursday, December 4th - World AIDS Day Bake Sale - We will be holding our annual Bake Sale in commemoration of World AIDS Day. Keep A Child Alive will also be present and helping out with this bake sale. All proceeds will be donated to Keep A Child Alive. If you are able to make anything for the bake sale, you can drop it off in the Club Room, VC 3-239, from 10:30 to 10:40 or from 12:10 to 12:30, or you can come to the table in the 2nd Floor Lobby of the Vertical Campus with your things at 12:35. Drop off times in the Club Room are subject to change, so please check your emails. The Bake Sale will run from 12:40 to 5:00 P.M., or until we sell everything. (In this case, it will end earlier.) Any time that you could donate to help man the tables would be greatly welcomed and appreciated!

We hope to see you at this weeks upcoming events!

Best Regards,
