If you are interested in joining this committee, please send us an email. We will be holding an informal meeting in he upcoming days. Please check your emails or the club website, http://baruchglass.blogspot.com, for updates.
Tomorrow, there will be an opening ceremony for Latino History Month in the Multipurpose Room, VC 1-107, from 12:40 to 2:30 P.M. At the meeting, we will be albe to learn how they can help us advertise our events and even help design flyers for our events. We encourage our members to attend this meeting, especially if you are interested in joining our Events Committee.
We hope to see you all come out to these events this week and wish you all the best,

About GLASS
GLASS is a group that has evolved through history.
In 1977, it was originally founded as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance of Baruch College, or GALA. It served as a support group and safe haven for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students at Baruch College. The group's purpose was to educate and create a tolerant community in the college. It served as a social club, an educational club, and a political club.
Throughout the years, the group evolved to become a gay-straight alliance, as many friends came to support their fellow students.
In the Fall of 2007, to mark this transition, the group was renamed The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Society of Baruch College, or GLASS. Today, after being in existence for more than 30 years, the group still provides a safe haven for all students to express their feelings and strives to build a tolerant community at Baruch and to bring more awareness to students about the LGBT Community.
